Mistakenly labeled learning disabled, Todd Corbin grew up with very low self-esteem causing many years of social and emotional scars to overcome. Now a professional motivational speaker, author, certified coach, stress expert, and avid runner, Todd shares his wisdom for enhancing performance, increasing resilience and emotional/mental mastery, and reducing stress and anxiety through a variety of speaking and training programs (Both in person and on-line) and personal coaching.
For over twelve years Todd served as an instructor at Lakeland Community College in Kirtland, Ohio, teaching courses in stress and emotional management, communication skills, sales, high performance, mindfulness, and meditation.
Todd has been practicing and teaching mindfulness since 1994, integrating the most current research in neuroscience and optimal performance. He received formal training in mindfulness from some of the leading experts and programs in the field including: Daniel J. Siegel, M.D., Dr. Amy Saltzman's Still Quiet Place, Gina Biegel’s Stressed Teens (MBSR-T), U Massachusetts Medical Center’s Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction(MBSR), mPEAK: Mindful Performance Enhancement, Awareness, and Knowledge from UC San Diego, and Positive Psychology - Science of Happiness from UC Berkeley.
Todd spent over twenty-one years in higher education sales and consulting working for some of the world’s leading educational publishers like Pearson, Houghton-Mifflin, and Cengage Learning. This afforded Todd access to thousands of educators in hundreds of schools across the country helping him gain an intimate knowledge of curriculum and instruction for how students learn most effectively.
Todd has also received extensive training in meditation directly from best-selling authors Deepak Chopra and Neale Donald Walsch. As a result, he created a mindfulness-based curriculum for children and teens in 2003 that he taught at the Chopra Center for Well-Being in Carlsbad, CA.
Todd is a certified parenting coach receiving his certification with specialized training in special needs in 2012 from the Academy for Coaching Parents International.
He also received a Level 2 certification in 2013 from Pediatric Speech Therapist Suzy Miller's Awesomism Practitioner Program designed to create greater understanding and communication with children and teens, especially those on the autism spectrum.
Todd is an avid runner, sports enthusiast, and classic movie aficionado. He was captain of his high school golf team and played varsity baseball where he used his speed to track down many fly balls. He continued his passion for sports by coaching youth baseball for many years. Because of that commitment to youth, he spends some of his time sharing his knowledge of stress and anxiety relief and performance enhancement with student athletes, sports teams, and coaches.
Todd is a parent of two teenage athletes and author with Gina Biegel of Mindfulness For Student Athletes: A Workbook to Help Teens Reduce Stress and Enhance Performance with New Harbinger Publications.

I left the workshop more relaxed and stress free!” –H. Danny Young, Jr., Head Coach Shaker Heights High School Boys Basketball & School Principal
“I was especially interested in Todd’s workshop because our school targets students with ADHD and Asperger’s Syndrome. I thought his program was perfect for our staff because working with our students is often especially difficult. Todd’s message and strategies permeated through to my many staff members.” –Frank Cheraso, Director of Summit Academy School
“In my estimation, Todd’s program is the “missing link” in schools. As a parent of a special needs child, I am well aware of the behaviors that stem from the frustration of lack of self-expression and diminished understanding that can sometimes accompany certain disabilities. During the days immediately following Todd's program, I put into action his concepts of acceptance, gratitude, and mindfulness coupled with relaxation breathing. The tools I learned from his course proved to be an effective combination for de-escalating outbursts and volatile tantrums.” –Jayma Provance, Parent Mentor Coordinator, Berea City School District
“Brilliant job with the team tonight to motivate them!!! You turned what could have been a very demoralizing loss into a game to inspire more great playing and teamwork in the future. It was wonderful to watch!” –Tom Muzilla, associate baseball coach
